The last time such an exercise was done was in 1976 and thereafter no such comprehensive attempts were made and the common man has to still rely on old cadastral survey maps.”

Attention of the house drown to the plight of the people of Cumbharjua constituency, especially the passengers traveling by konkan railway. The pressing issue of the limited number of trains stopping at Karmali station. The konkan railway Line connects to most of the states including Maharastra and Karnataka catering to a vast number of Passengers. However, The Current Situation at Karmali station is coursing great hardship to the travelers.
Presently, very few trains stop at karmali Station, resulting in significant inconvenience to passengers. Moreover, the number of passengers is increasing day by day, exacerbating the problem . This situation not only affects the daily commute of locals but also hampers the overall development of the region. In light of this, Govt should intervene and direct the Konkan Railway authorities to have an additional railway Stop for all trains operating on the route of Karmali station.
Steps Govt intent intend to take in this regard.

Attention of the House is drawn as regards the students, parents and staff of Sharada Mandir School Kadamba due to pathetic condition of road stretch beginning from Healthway Hospital to Sharada Mandir School, Kadamba, Goulim Moula.
The road has become hazard to the life of students, parents and staff as well as damage to vehicles plying on the road. There are big pot holes on the road which leads to daily accident to two-wheeler riders.
Recently two staff members of Sharada Mandir School Kadamba have been injured due to the terrible condition of the road.
Steps Govt. intend to take in this regard.

The Gaundalim Railway crossing is one of the major roads located at old Goa panchayat under the Cumbharjua constituency. There are often traffic congestion noticed due to railway crossing at Dauji. The services of emergency vehicles are also hampered. Hence, it is requested to immediately look into the work of the flyover bridge.
